About The Position

We are seeking an engaging and energetic Preschool Teacher to support our enrichment programs, including cooking, yoga, and sports-based activities. This role is responsible for creating a fun, safe, and structured environment where children can explore new skills, build confidence, and develop social-emotional growth through hands-on experiences. This position requires travel between nearby school campuses. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.50 per hour, based on experience and education.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
• Experience or interest in one or more of the following: Cooking or food-based learning, Youth fitness, yoga, or movement activities, Sports or recreational programming
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to lead engaging, high-energy activities while maintaining structure and safety
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Nice To Haves

• Early Childhood Education coursework preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and support enrichment programs such as: Kids Café, Culinary Club, Young Yogis, Kickstart Soccer
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote creativity and exploration, teamwork and collaboration, coordination and physical development, and social-emotional learning
• Ensure a safe and nurturing classroom environment at all times
• Supervise children during enrichment sessions, maintaining appropriate ratios and active engagement
• Adapt activities to meet varying developmental levels and learning styles
• Support children in building practical life skills such as following directions, problem-solving, and cooperation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of materials, especially in food-based programs
• Communicate positively with parents and school leadership regarding children’s participation and progress
