Preschool Teacher Assistant TA
About The Position
Little Lukes is seeking Preschool Teacher Assistants (TA) to support our daycare classrooms in an inclusion preschool setting. In this role, you will work with a team of Certified Lead Teachers and Special Education Teachers to support the children in our care. The position involves providing exceptional care and instruction, supporting the development and education of preschool children (ages 3-5) through language-based interactions, and preparing them for kindergarten. You will also help create a positive, engaging, and structured learning environment, implement effective classroom management, and reinforce classroom expectations and routines.

Responsibilities
- Support the development and education of preschool children, ages 3 to 5 years, within our Inclusive classrooms alongside a Lead Teacher and Special Education Teacher.
- Assist in teaching developmentally appropriate academic and social skills to prepare children for kindergarten through strong, language-based, whole group, small group, and one-on-one interactions.
- Help to create a positive, engaging, and structured learning environment where children are encouraged to be curious and excited to learn.
- Implement effective classroom management.
- Help to set and reinforce classroom expectations and routines.
