About The Position

Berean Christian School is seeking a full-time Preschool Teaching Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates must have a passion for serving God in the context of education. A relationship with Jesus Christ and viewing your teaching position as a ministry is essential. BCS adheres to The Baptist Faith and Message (2000). The general purpose of this role is to assist the teacher with the organization and implementation of an appropriate instructional program in a Christ-centered environment of love, respect, trust, and safety where children will strive to achieve their maximum potential under God.

Requirements

• A relationship with Jesus Christ and viewing your teaching position as a ministry is essential.
• Must be a regular attending member in good standing at a church of “like-faith”.
• Adheres to The Baptist Faith and Message (2000).

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of preschool assistance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all policies, expectations and professional standards in the Grace Fellowship and Berean Christian School handbooks
• Assist the teacher with the preparation of instruction and activities for the day
• Maintain the attendance records for each day
• Adhere to best practices in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school
• Contribute to the warm and inviting atmosphere
• All other duties as assigned by BCS Administration
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude and exhibit flexibility with changing situations.
