About The Position

Soccer Shots Baltimore-Washington is seeking dependable coaches for the Fall Season (mid-August through early-December) to lead 30-minute to 1-hour-long soccer sessions for children ages 18-months to 8 years old. These sessions take place at local preschools, elementary schools, parks, and community centers. Coaches will travel within a 30–45 minute radius for coaching assignments. The role offers a fun work environment, flexible hours, and the opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives.

Requirements

Passion for positively impacting children’s lives through the love of sports and fitness.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle that is insured.
Availability during the Fall Season (mid-August through early-December) within weekday morning (8:30 AM – 1 PM), weekday afternoon (1:30 PM – 4:30 PM), weekday evening (4:30 PM – 7 PM), or weekend morning (8:30 AM – 1 PM) timeframes.
Must be reliable and consistent.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with children ages 18-months to 8 years old is preferred.
Prior soccer experience is not required.
Can still be a "kid" with a silly, goofy, and high-energy personality.

Responsibilities

Lead 30-minute to 1-hour-long soccer sessions for children ages 18-months to 8 years old.
Travel within a 30–45 minute radius for coaching assignments.
Teach fun, themed soccer sessions within a structured 8–10-week seasonal schedule.
Ensure sessions are high-energy, fun, and age-appropriate.
Make a lasting, positive impact on every child served.
