About The Position

Soccer Shots is seeking enthusiastic and experienced Preschool Soccer Coaches to join our morning weekday school programs. In this role, you will bring "Soccer Island" to life with your energy and creativity, conducting soccer classes for children aged 3 to 6 years old. You will be responsible for field set-up and take-down, encouraging character development through positive reinforcement, and utilizing our expert-created curriculum and early childhood development techniques. The position requires attending seasonal training sessions and mid-season refreshers, fostering a safe and inclusive environment, and following all on-site safety and attendance protocols. Effective communication with supervisors, families, and teachers is essential. Coaches are also responsible for transporting themselves and equipment to class locations.

Requirements

  • Experience working with preschool age children including active Oregon CBR, schools background check
  • Genuine passion for children and sports.
  • Energetic, engaging, responsible and safety conscious.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of kids
  • Drivers license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in preschools and daycares
  • Available weekday mornings (8am-1pm), especially Tuesday-Thursday
  • Willing to drive to the West Side for classes

Responsibilities

  • Bring “Soccer Island” alive with your enthusiasm and creativity.

  • Follow all on-site safety and attendance protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisor, families, and teachers.
  • Transport self and equipment to class location, setup and tear down field
