About The Position

The Preschool Instructional Assistant is responsible for providing a safe and teacher supportive program in accordance with all Community Care Licensing and Red Hill Lutheran Church and School policies and procedures. The Preschool Instructional Assistant will be responsible for implementing a program that assists in the teaching of young children. They must ensure the development and safety of these children in accordance with relevant to licensing and school requirements and policies. The Preschool Instructional Assistant will be respectful of children and parents, and ensure that equipment and facilities are clean, safe and well maintained.

Requirements

Proficient knowledge in Child Development and Developmental Early Education theories and practices.
12 or more Early Childhood Education units.
Knowledge of safe and age-appropriate skill building activities for preschool-aged children.
Knowledge of ensuring that children are well supervised, using RHLS standards and practices in keeping children safe at all times.
