About The Position

Carpe Diem Private Preschool is seeking an Enrichment- Music Teacher to join their team. Educators at Carpe Diem are responsible for brightening children's lives daily and are supported with resources to create a positive learning environment. As an Enrichment Teacher, you will be tasked with developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum in music, planning engaging activities to foster cognitive, social, and emotional development, and assessing and documenting student progress. Requirements

Love working with children
Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members
The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education

Nice To Haves

CPR certification experience preferred

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum in a specific subject (music)
Plan engaging activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
Assess and document your student's progress
Help lead innovative learning activities that promote children’s development and growth
Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
Monitor children’s progress and development
Create a harmonious environment where children and fellow teachers enjoy coming to each day
Teach music to all ages - infant through PreK
