About The Position

Stratford School, part of Spring Education Group, is a leading independent WASC-accredited private school in California offering courses from preschool through 12th grade with a vision of creating a unique, multi-dimensional educational foundation for children. At Stratford School, we understand every child has his or her own interests and passions and contributes in their own way. Our proven program includes our STEAM-based curriculum that was recognized by the White House as a leader in early childhood STEAM education, and we are also the first California school to earn the Carnegie Science Seal of Excellence for STEM. As a Preschool Mandarin Multi-Classroom Teacher, you will support classrooms of children ages 2–3 years old in a nurturing learning environment. In this role, you will lead portions of the day in Mandarin, introducing young learners to the language through songs, storytelling, and daily interactions. You will work collaboratively with your partner teacher to ensure the successful operation of the classroom while fostering a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment. You will use both English and Mandarin to naturally integrate language exposure into everyday routines and activities. Teachers create their own lesson plans using a provided curriculum as a guide. In early preschool, the day includes a balance of structured activities and open/free play, with Mandarin naturally integrated into both.
