About The Position

This is a temporary part-time hourly position, which provides services no more than 10-15 hours per week. Position is contingent on funding and the need for services supporting the school’s preschool classrooms.

Requirements

• Must possess a high school degree or higher.
• Experience working with young children from 0 to 8 years of age is required.
• Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form, including procedure manuals.
• Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with parents, teachers, administrators, community, students, and others.

Responsibilities

• Maintains confidential nature of all student information.
• Articulates and complies with the program standards and guidelines pertaining to lunch and bathroom / toileting/ diapering procedures.
• Maintains appropriate adult/child interaction to promote learning and achievement.
• Complies with State Law and District policies and regulations.
• Performs duties in full compliance with district requirements and school policies.
• Maintains regular attendance and punctuality.
• Performs diapering, toileting and any other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
