At The Learning Experience Franklin Lakes, our Lead Teachers are ambassadors of happiness who create meaningful learning experiences for children every day. We are looking for passionate early childhood educators who enjoy working with young children and creating a safe, engaging classroom environment where learning and play go hand in hand. This role is ideal for a nurturing, dependable educator who enjoys leading classroom activities, building strong relationships with families, and supporting children during important stages of development.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years experience with preschool aged children
• Must meet all New Jersey state licensing requirements for childcare staff

Nice To Haves

• CDA, ECE coursework, or Early Childhood Education degree preferred
• Passion for working with young children
• Strong communication and classroom management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom activities and daily routines for preschool-aged children
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
• Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in a fun and age-appropriate way
• Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
• Strong classroom management
• Communicate with families regarding daily activities and developmental progress
• Ensure compliance with all state licensing and safety requirements
