About The Position
The Learning Experience - Andover is seeking an experienced Preschool Lead Teacher who loves helping young children become confident, curious, and increasingly independent learners. As a Lead Teacher, you'll take ownership of your classroom while creating engaging experiences that build early academic skills, friendships, creativity, communication, and kindergarten readiness.
Requirements
- Must meet Massachusetts EEC requirements to serve as a Preschool Lead Teacher
- Previous professional preschool or early childhood classroom experience required
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for early childhood education and children's development
Nice To Haves
- Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead daily Preschool classroom routines and learning activities
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Create engaging experiences supporting literacy, math, language, science, creativity, and social-emotional development
- Encourage independence, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships
- Observe and document children's development
- Guide and support Assistant Teachers
- Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom
- Follow Massachusetts EEC licensing requirements
