Preschool Lead Teacher
About The Position
The Malvern School is currently seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented teacher with a passion for Early Childhood Education to serve as a Lead Teacher for the Preschool classroom at The Malvern School of Westtown. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday. The teacher will plan, supervise, and implement a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy. Key responsibilities include maintaining a safe, healthy, and educational environment for the class and communicating regularly with parents, both in person and through technology, to meet or exceed their expectations. The Malvern School is dedicated to educating young children through innovative programming, focusing on a quality, child-centered philosophy within clean, attractive facilities. Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.
- An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.
- An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.
