The Learning Experience – Lake Linganore is opening soon, and we're looking for an enthusiastic Preschool Lead Teacher to help build our school from the very beginning. This is a unique opportunity to establish classroom culture, mentor fellow educators, and create meaningful learning experiences for preschoolers preparing for kindergarten. Requirements

Must be Preschool Teacher qualified under Maryland Office of Child Care regulations
Previous experience leading a preschool classroom preferred
Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
Dependable, collaborative, and passionate about early childhood education

Responsibilities

Lead a preschool classroom focused on kindergarten readiness and whole-child development
Implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons using The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
Foster children's language, literacy, math, science, and social-emotional growth through hands-on learning
Create a structured, safe, and welcoming classroom environment where every child can thrive
Mentor and collaborate with Assistant Teachers to maintain a consistent, high-quality classroom experience
Build strong relationships with families through daily communication and developmental updates
Maintain compliance with Maryland Office of Child Care (OCC) licensing requirements and health and safety standards
