About The Position

At Kamaʻāina Kids, our Kitchen Assistants help create one of the most important parts of every child's day—healthy meals shared in a warm, welcoming preschool community. You'll prepare and serve nutritious meals, keep the kitchen organized, and support the preschool team while enjoying a consistent weekday schedule with afternoons, evenings, and weekends free. Requirements

• Is dependable and takes pride in their work
• Enjoys staying organized and keeping things running smoothly
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Likes being around young children
• Has a positive attitude and enjoys helping others
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and reside in Hawai‘i (or have plans to relocate).

Nice To Haves

• Kitchen or food service experience is helpful, but reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn are what matter most.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving catered breakfasts, lunches, and snacks
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
• Following food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Washing dishes and keeping kitchen supplies stocked
• Assisting teachers with simple classroom tasks when extra help is needed
• Supporting the preschool team wherever needed
