About The Position

At Primrose, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for young children. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Preschool Cook to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our mission by preparing nutritious meals that contribute to the overall well-being of our students.

Requirements

Experience in a cooking or food preparation role, preferably in a childcare or educational setting.
Ability to work a full-time schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Reliable transportation to and from work.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working in a preschool or similar environment.
A commitment to stability and long-term employment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook healthy meals and snacks for preschool children, ensuring adherence to dietary guidelines and nutritional standards.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all safety and sanitation regulations.
Collaborate with staff to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences.
Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
Assist in planning menus that promote healthy eating habits among children.
Ensure proper food storage and handling procedures are followed to maintain food safety.
Willing and able to drive the schools van when needed
