The Learning Experience – Littleton is seeking a reliable Preschool Cook to prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children in our early childhood education center. This role helps support a safe, organized kitchen environment while ensuring children receive healthy meals that meet program and licensing requirements. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a school setting and maintaining consistent food preparation routines for young children.

Requirements

Food Handler certification required
Prior experience in food preparation preferred
Experience in a childcare or school kitchen a plus
Strong organization and time management skills
Ability to follow health and sanitation regulations consistently
Must meet Massachusetts licensing and food safety requirements

Responsibilities

Prepare daily meals and snacks following approved menus and nutrition guidelines
Maintain compliance with Massachusetts food safety and sanitation standards
Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and temperature monitoring
Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and food preparation area
Monitor inventory and assist with supply ordering as needed
Follow allergy awareness procedures and dietary accommodations
Support classroom meal service schedules
Maintain accurate food service documentation as required
