About The Position

The Learning Experience – Foxboro is seeking a dependable and organized Preschool Cook to prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children in our early childhood education center. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys cooking, values food safety, and takes pride in supporting children's health and well-being. As our Preschool Cook, you'll help create a positive mealtime experience for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment.

Requirements

• ServSafe Certification required
• Previous cooking, food service, or kitchen experience required
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
• Must meet Massachusetts health and licensing requirements

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a childcare, school, or institutional kitchen preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and snacks for children of all ages
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures
• Monitor food allergies and dietary restrictions to ensure every child's safety
• Maintain food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and inspection-ready
• Communicate daily menus and allergy information with classroom teachers
• Ensure compliance with Massachusetts health regulations and center policies
• Support special events and classroom celebrations as needed
