About The Position

Anderson County Schools Preschool is seeking a flexible Preschool Classroom Support to assist in classrooms across multiple school district locations. This role involves supporting the classroom teacher in the instruction and care of preschool children aged 3-5 years. The support staff will guide children in activities designed to foster social interaction, physical movement, and intellectual development.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent for hire.
• Must complete a Child Development Associate credential or equivalent within 2 years of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Classroom experience preferred.
• Spanish speaking is desired.

Responsibilities

• Aid the classroom teacher in the instruction and care of preschool children.

Benefits

• Pay is based on the ACS Educational Assistants pay scale with applicable supplements.
• Starting pay may be increased for any verified experience.
• Starting pay may be increased if the candidate holds an advanced credential, such as an associate or bachelor's degree.
