About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Preschool Center Co-Director to join the leadership team at our premier school in Reading, MA. This role is ideal for a strong leader and passionate educator committed to delivering an exceptional experience for children, families, and staff. Full-time, year-round | Monday–Friday | Shared opening/closing shifts Salary range of $65,000 – $70,000+ annually, based on experience, education, and EEC certifications, plus annual bonus eligibility for EEC Director Qualified Candidates.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
Minimum 4-8 years as a Director in a licensed Childcare Center with 100+ students and 35+ teachers.
Director II Certification.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to support child safety, including lifting infants and assisting in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations, including staffing, parent relations, and facilities.
Ensure delivery of curriculum-aligned programs that support development and kindergarten readiness, including summer programs.
Build a positive team culture through coaching, development, performance management, and issue resolution.
Lead team culture, training, and performance management.
Maintain full compliance with state and franchise regulations, ensuring accurate records and a safe environment.
