About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time Assistant to support a classical and Catholic Preschool classroom for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for the Catholic faith and a desire to contribute to a structured, Socratic learning environment. While formal teaching experience or certification is not required, a deep love for the Catholic faith and the ability to live it daily are essential. The academy provides training on curriculum, grading, and classroom management according to RCA standards. This is an hourly position with provided childcare/nursery.

Requirements

• Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
• Deep love for the Catholic faith.
• Living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all appropriate sacraments.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good organization.
• Timeliness.
• A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must complete RCA Safe Child training prior to teaching.

Nice To Haves

• Experience homeschooling or working with homeschool children.
• Ministry experience in a Catholic parish.
• Experience teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes.
• Experience teaching one's own children.
• Experience teaching in a classical or private school.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a classical and Catholic Preschool classroom.
• Provide instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards.
• Prepare for classes at home.
• Follow and implement lesson plans.
• Teach in a highly structured environment.
