Preschool Assistant Teacher
About The Position
The Learning Experience® – Staten Island, NY is now hiring a Preschool Assistant Teacher for their brand-new childcare center. This role involves supporting Lead Teachers in a preschool/daycare classroom for children from infants to age 5. The position focuses on creating a safe, nurturing environment, assisting with daily routines and activities, maintaining classroom order, and building positive relationships with children and families. The Learning Experience® aims to make early education joyful, engaging, and fun, focusing on the six ages and stages of early childhood development through hands-on learning activities.
Requirements
- 1+ year of childcare, daycare, or preschool experience required.
- High school diploma required
- Passion for working in a childcare or preschool setting
- Reliable, positive, team-oriented mindset
- CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
