Preschool Assistant Teacher
About The Position
The Child Development Center (CDC) in Casper, Wyoming is seeking a caring, energetic, and professional Preschool Assistant Teacher to join their team for the 2026–2027 school year. This position also provides temporary backup support to the Front Desk Administrative Assistant. The CDC is looking for someone passionate about working with children, who works collaboratively, and is dedicated to providing quality education and care. The ideal candidate will have computer experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to answer a multi-line phone system. The Child Development Center exists to provide premier, family-focused, developmentally appropriate services for children from newborn to age 21.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent reliability
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Computer experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Professional demeanor
- Ability to answer a multi-line phone system
- Successful completion of an extensive background investigation and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Previous preschool front desk or administrative assistance experience is preferred.
