About The Position
The Learning Experience® – Staten Island, NY is now hiring a Preschool Assistant Teacher for their brand-new childcare center serving infants through age 5. This role involves supporting Lead Teachers in a preschool/daycare classroom, helping to create a safe and nurturing environment, assisting with daily routines and activities, maintaining classroom cleanliness, and building positive relationships with children and families. The center focuses on making early education joyful and engaging, with a curriculum centered on six ages and stages of early childhood development, encouraging hands-on learning and problem-solving.
Requirements
- 1+ year of childcare, daycare, or preschool experience required.
- High school diploma required
- Passion for working in a childcare or preschool setting
- Reliable, positive, team-oriented mindset
- CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
