Under the direction and supervision of the Manager of Early Childhood Services, the Assistant for the Preschool class is responsible for helping to plan and implement daily curriculum and activities as well as classroom management in support of the Preschool Lead Teacher. Assist in the development of daily schedules with learning outcomes and monitor children’s attendance, progress and communicate with parents. Follow safety guidelines while providing a safe and comfortable environment for the children. Offer quality customer service. Additional duties include but are not limited to, promoting the preschool program, room set up and regular cleaning, attending staff meetings and trainings, research and purchase of educational materials and supplies, and other duties as assigned. This is an at-will position.
