About The Position
The Learning Experience® – Staten Island, NY is now hiring a Preschool Assistant Teacher. This role is at a brand-new childcare center serving infants through age 5. The ideal candidate is passionate about daycare, preschool, and early childhood education. The Assistant Preschool Teacher will support Lead Teachers in a preschool/daycare classroom, help create a safe and nurturing environment, assist with daily routines and activities, maintain a clean classroom, and build positive relationships with children and families.
Requirements
- 1+ year of childcare, daycare, or preschool experience required.
- High school diploma required
- Passion for working in a childcare or preschool setting
- Reliable, positive, team-oriented mindset
- CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
Nice To Haves
- early childhood education a plus
