About the Role As a Multi-Campus Teacher, you will support our Fremont Osgood campuses. This role offers the chance to engage with preschool and elementary students across various classrooms while providing support to teachers and campus staff. Each day may look a little different, whether assisting with classroom supervision, supporting instruction, or stepping in as a lead teacher when needed, your flexibility and enthusiasm will play a big role in maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment. This Multi-Campus Floater Teacher position is designed as a developmental role, intended to prepare candidates for a future Classroom Teacher position. It is expected that individuals in this position will actively work toward and be prepared for placement in a Classroom Teacher role as openings become available.

Requirements

  • 12 completed ECE semester units (or 18 quarter units), including coursework in: Child Growth and Development, Child, Family, and Community, Program/Curriculum
  • A Bachelor’s Degree
  • Prior experience in a preschool and elementary setting
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, flexibility, and a love for working with children

Responsibilities

  • Provide instructional and administrative support across multiple campuses and grade levels
  • Step in as a lead teacher during staff absences
  • Follow established lesson plans or create new ones for long-term assignments
  • Collaborate with lead teachers and school staff to ensure a smooth classroom experience
  • Assist in managing student behavior and maintaining classroom routines
  • Adapt to different grade levels and teaching styles with professionalism and flexibility
  • May be required to cover neighboring Fremont campus if there is a need
  • Perform other duties as assigned
