About The Position

Kids N Us is seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join their team as a Preschool 2 Assistant Teacher. The role involves helping to plan and implement an ongoing program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child enrolled in their care. No prior experience is needed, as Kids N Us is willing to train the right person.

Requirements

Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid TB skin test
Valid Proof of MMR
Valid Proof of Covid Vaccine or Approved Exemption
Valid food handlers permit
Valid first aid and CPR card
Child Care Basics (30 Hours Course) Initial Certificate or Equivalent (Within 5 Years)

Responsibilities

Create a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and play.
Bring a sense of warmth, patience, and understanding to the classroom every day.
Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions for a group of children.
Cultivate positive relationships with the children, families, teachers, and staff.
Implement school curriculum and assess developmental needs of students.
