The driver will operate a truck over an established route to deliver products to customers' places of business under various road conditions, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. The position requires working without direct supervision, effectively communicating customer concerns, and maintaining accurate records of sales, deliveries, and variances. The driver will utilize a computerized inventory and invoicing system, operate hand trucks and electric pallet jacks, and manage the loading and unloading of the truck, securing loads appropriately. Responsibilities also include collecting empty containers or unsold merchandise, performing daily truck inspections and basic maintenance, assembling Point of Sale (POS) materials, and adhering to company uniform and safety standards. Teton Distributors is Wyoming’s foremost distributor for beer, craft brews, and N/A beverages, and is the only state-wide distributor in Wyoming.

Requirements

Class A - Delivery Driver
Valid driver's license
Ability to operate hand trucks and electric pallet jacks
Ability to perform daily inspection and routine maintenance on truck
Ability to construct or assemble display aids from POS materials
Ability to wear company provided uniform and safety devices

Responsibilities

Drives truck over established route to deliver products.
Drives truck to deliver beverage product to customer's place of business on highway, rural, and city street conditions in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Works without direct supervision to deliver all products for established routes.
Effectively communicates issues and customer concerns to supervisor.
Records sales, buy back, delivery and variance information on daily sales or delivery record.
Operates computerized inventory and invoicing system to accurately record stops, deliveries, and any errors on the route.
Operates hand trucks and electric pallet jacks.
Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise.
Conducts and/or supervises truck loading and unloading and secures loads.
Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
Performs daily inspection and routine fluid, air, and oil maintenance on truck and maintains clean vehicle.
Constructs or assembles display aids from company provided Point of Sale (POS) materials.
Wears Company provided uniform and safety devices as appropriate to comply with safety and standards and procedures.
Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
