Requirements

Demonstrated track record automating production work (scripting, workflow automation, templating, imposition, preflight rules).
Hands-on prepress experience: preflight, color management, imposition, proofing.
Real experience with variable data and composition: building, testing, and proofing data-driven jobs.
Leadership experience or clear readiness for it.
Ability to work across departments.
An associate's or bachelor's degree and 5+ years in prepress, premedia, or data/composition in a commercial print environment, including lead or supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Prinect, BCC Architect, and VPS-based workflows.

Responsibilities

Own file preparation and preflight.
Manage variable data processing and document composition end-to-end.
Automate production work through scripting, workflow automation, templating, or imposition and preflight rules.
Set standards, train technicians, and hold a cross-functional group to a schedule.
Collaborate with departments such as scheduling, mailing, client services, and systems development to achieve automation goals.
