About The Position

A1 Body and Glass of Deerfield is seeking an Automotive Refinish Technician to refinish and restore collision related auto refinish to pre-loss condition. A1 Body and Glass of Deerfield is an I-CAR Gold Class Certified Collision Repair provider meeting the highest standards for quality, courtesy, and professionalism. We successfully operate 5 locations.

Requirements

Auto Body Refinish Technician, with at least 3 years of experience
Solid knowledge of automotive refinish techniques and tools, including expertise in using body shop equipment in the paint department
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Punctual, reliable, and able to meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with co-workers.
Must have own tools required for the job.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality painting of vehicles following manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
Ensure all paint jobs are applied evenly and meet our quality standards.
Mix and match paint colors to ensure perfect matches to original vehicle color.
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking vehicles.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Work efficiently and effectively, meeting deadlines and productivity goals.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and timely completion of repairs.
Assist in the maintenance and proper care of painting equipment and tools.
Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques to improve efficiency and quality.
