Requirements
- High School Diploma or its equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Use of simple arithmetic and some measuring instruments such as caliper, scale, etc.
- Manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities
- Sand entire vehicle or component, painted or unpainted.
- Perform minor body work.
- Wash entire vehicle or component.
- Blowdown, metal prep and condition vehicle or component.
- Mask, paper or grease components to be protected from paint.
- Prime and paint assemblies or components where a fine finish is not required.
- Demask, degrease vehicles or components. Apply stencils, labels, logos, sandpaint, nonskid etc., as required.
- Clean entire vehicle or components of overspray, grease rust- proof, and dirt to ready product for shipment.
- Drive vehicle as required in- to building from station to station and out of building and operate equipment as necessary.
- Move parts carts by hand or with forklift.
- Rustproof vehicle or components (certification required).
