About The Position

Dave’s Hot Chicken is a rapidly expanding new concept, serving Nashville style Hot Chicken. As a local, family owned franchise we are excited to bring this extremely successful concept from Los Angeles to Portland and all of Oregon.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Be flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays, opening and closing shifts.
Have the ability to stand for long periods of time, bend and stoop, and lift 50 – 75 lbs. comfortably.
Be able to work in close quarters and around heat.
A positive attitude while conducting all duties.
Have a commitment to guest satisfaction.
Effective communicator with Teammates and the Restaurant Management Team.
The identify of all new hires will be verified by E-Verify.

Responsibilities

Performing specific tasks and duties assigned within the Restaurant including guest service, food prep, restaurant cleanliness, and teamwork.
Working productively in a fast-paced environment.
Maintaining a fast speed of service.
Interacting with Guests.
Working closely with other Team Members to complete tasks.
Following all safety and security procedures.
Conducting other duties assigned by the Restaurant Management Team.
Greeting guests, recording orders, and serving food and beverages with a consistently positive and helpful attitude, including answering questions.
Preparing items on the DHC menu while following cooking instructions, safety procedures, and sanitary requirements.
Using specific kitchen machinery/equipment such as ice cream dispensers, fryers, warmers, etc.
Ensuring Restaurant cleanliness daily by clearing tables, sweeping and mopping floors, washing/sanitizing/disinfecting kitchen utensils and high touch-point areas, and servicing restrooms.
Handling guests’ concerns and complaints professionally and calmly to resolve problems according to Restaurant Policy.
