Requirements
- Comfort working in a chilled environment (0–4°C)
- The ability to stand for extended periods (up to 9 hours per shift)
- The physical capability to lift items up to 44 lbs (20 kg)
- A strong sense of urgency and the ability to meet tight deadlines
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or a high-paced warehouse setting (preferred, but not required)
Responsibilities
- Preparing and portioning a variety of fresh ingredients, such as vegetables, cheeses, sauces, and proteins, according to meal plan specifications.
- Using kitchen tools and food processing equipment to clean, cut, measure, weigh, and package ingredients into single-portion sizes.
- Operate and maintain pre-cut dicing and slicing machines to ensure accurate and efficient food processing.
- Working efficiently within a timed production standard to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and food-safe work environment by following health and safety protocols at all times.
