We serve healthy, handcrafted meals and snacks from our growing network of 400+ software-enabled vending machines that we refer to as smart Fridges, and a new direct-to-consumer business. In this Processing role with our Production Team, you will: Responsible for Level 1 and 2 responsibilities as well as elevated responsibilities for the processing team Step up for lead when lead is absent to ensure that all work is completed in full and on time for that respective functional area Fully functional on processing machines: Manual dressing sealers, immersion blenders, Robot Coupe R2, CL52, deli slicer, chicken shredder, ovens, Kronen gs-10 (belt cutter), kronen wash machine (produce washer), Urschel sprint, spin dryers Act as point of contact for functional area, communicate status updates with Assistant supervisors in absence of leads Process food using techniques and equipment that may have an increased physical safety risk and has a food safety check associated (CCP)

Requirements

  • Previous experience in kitchen, food prep, or food service related work preferred
  • Knowledge of various food prep methods, proper knife handling, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage preferred
  • Able to stand and work for long periods of time (10 hour shifts) in a cold environment (around 40 degrees) and lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Able to stay organized and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
