About The Position
Prep Network operates over 100 websites dedicated to maximizing visibility and value for high school athletes. Our scouts provide content, player rankings, and event coverage year-round across various sports including basketball, football, and volleyball. We have a nationwide network of scouts producing thousands of articles monthly and organizing numerous tournaments and showcases. As a scout, you will be responsible for creating written and social media content, attending high school and club games, analyzing game film, and publishing player-driven analysis on our website. You will leverage your existing network with high school and college coaches to expand the Prep Network's presence. We are a fast-growing sports company that values impact, culture, work ethic, and a passion for learning and improvement.
Requirements
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Ability to be a great teammate and do whatever is needed
- Self-motivated and able to perform without direct supervision
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Proficient with Google Apps (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs)

Responsibilities
- Attend high school and club games and publish written and social media content
- Promote players at all levels of collegiate recruitment
- Work with other Prep Network contributors to maximize the value added to teams, players, and coaches in your state
- Network with coaches at all levels to grow the Prep Network brand
