The Role: Prep Help will report to the Site Superindentendent. Duties will include but are not limited to doing minor repairs as identified by the Site Superintendent in each home to prepare the home for closing. Some of the duties are caulking, drywall patching, minor painting, minor finishing carpentry/construction duties and more.

Requirements

  • Must have your own basic tools including hand tools and cordless tools.
  • Previous residential construction knowledge in finishing construction.
  • Complete tasks such as minor drywall repairs, paint touch ups, caulking and general cleaning.
  • A valid "G" driver’s license is required, and you must provide your own vehicle.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Must be organized with an attention to detail and quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Repair all minor deficiencies as noted by Site Superindentendent.
  • Prepare the homes for closing.
  • Perform finishing carpentry tasks such as caulking, patching of drywall, minor painting, trim work and other duties as required.
  • General cleaning of homes.
  • Assist other employees as required.
