Prep Cook - Part-Time - Interaction Station (No Nights/Weekends)
About The Position
Creative Dining Services is looking for a Prep Cook to join our dining services team at Warner University in Lake Wales, FL. The Prep Cook works within the Dining Services Department to ensure that high quality, properly seasoned, nutritious food is being provided throughout the operation, in a fiscally responsible and safe manner, and works cooperatively as a valued member of the dining services team, assisting with any aspect of the dining services program necessary. This is a live-action station - this cook will be someone who will interact with the students and guests while preparing their food in front of them. An outgoing, personable candidate will succeed here. Hours: Daytime hours - NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS!!
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years cooking experience
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

Responsibilities
- Preparation, Service and Presentation of items made to order in a fast-paced environment
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and menus in a manner in which preserves food freshness, quality and appeal
- Utilize safe food handling, storage and labeling techniques at all times
- Maintain a clean, safe and sanitized work area
- Support other kitchen employees in assuring that the essential functions of the kitchen are performed adequately and appropriately
