About The Position

Emmy Squared Pizza and Swingers Crazy Golf are bringing their unique dining and entertainment experience to Boston’s iconic Back Bay neighborhood and are seeking Prep Cooks to join their opening team. The ideal candidate is a culinary professional who is ready to showcase their skills in a dynamic and exciting Boston setting. As part of the Pizza Loves Emily Restaurant Group, Emmy Squared Pizza is an upscale casual full-service restaurant company with over 20 locations across the U.S. Known for its Detroit-style pizza and award-winning burgers, Emmy Squared combines innovative cuisine with exceptional hospitality.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience as a cook in a full-service restaurant.
Passion for food and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Calm and welcoming demeanor, even under pressure.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical capability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs., push/pull up to 75 lbs., and stand for extended periods.
Familiarity with culinary tools and the ability to taste and smell for quality assurance.

Responsibilities

Preparing specific food items with consistency, quality, and adherence to recipes.
Maintaining sanitation standards that meet health department guidelines.
Setting up and managing kitchen workstations.
Practicing safe food handling and proper storage techniques.
Reporting equipment maintenance or repair needs to management.
Keeping work areas clean and equipment well-maintained.
Performing other back-of-house duties as assigned by management.
