About The Position

The Prep Cook is a Kitchen (Heart of House) Team Member responsible for helping set the pace for a great shift by preparing food and supporting station readiness. The role involves following recipes and preparation methods, completing prep work, and upholding safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment. Prep Cooks also contribute to a safe and welcoming workplace and provide dependable, fast service as part of the team.

Requirements

• Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
• Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Properly execute all recipe procedures.
• Prepare a variety of foods using different preparation methods.
• Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations.
