We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Prep Cook to support our culinary team. This role is essential to maintaining the flow, organization, and consistency of our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their work, and understands that preparation is the foundation of exceptional execution.
Requirements
- Previous prep cook or professional kitchen experience (catering experience a plus)
- Strong knife skills and understanding of basic cooking techniques
- Ability to follow recipes and detailed instructions
- Organized, efficient, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and passion for food

Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with daily food preparation for a variety of catering events
- Wash, chop, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and standards
- Maintain proper labeling, storage, and rotation of food (FIFO)
- Ensure consistency in quality, portioning, and presentation
- Support freezer pulls and inventory management as directed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
- Work collaboratively to meet production timelines and event deadlines
