The Prep Cook will prepare meal ingredients, simple dishes, condiments, and other items as directed by senior culinary staff. This role involves preparing fresh produce by peeling, cutting, and portioning, as well as trimming, cutting, and portioning meat. The Prep Cook will also prepare simple dishes like breads or salads and mix or prepare condiments, dressings, and sauces. Maintaining compliance with applicable health, safety, food handling, and hygiene codes and standards is essential. Additionally, the role assists with unloading, inspection, and storage of raw ingredients and supplies and performs other related duties as assigned. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
