Summary Prep fresh foods for daily store operations by performing the following duties.
Requirements
- Previous cooking/dishwashing experience is strongly preferred
- Positive attitude
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to stand, use hands regularly, and talk or hear.
- Ability to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Responsibilities
- Wash and process produce to Green District standards
- Cook proteins and other produce as necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe work space
- Wash dishes
- Assist with opening and closing store procedures
