About The Position
Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc. Undertake basic cooking duties such as preparing meals on food truck at a satellite kitchen. Once the food is prep and place in containers. The meals will be distributed to sites such as schools, apartment complex to the kids. Foods such as five components meal for a kid’s food program. Prepare simple dishes such as hamburgers, hot dog, corn dogs, spaghetti, sandwich entrees etc. Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc. Must have transportation to work. There is no bus line. A food handler’s card is a must. Starting pay is according to experience 15.00 Hours of operation: 9 to 5pm Monday thru Friday, No weekends. Hours could change if kids are out of school to accommodate the lunch time instead of serving a dinner
