Requirements

• Proven experience as a Prep Cook or in a similar kitchen role.
• Solid knowledge of food preparation techniques, with the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• A strong attention to detail and the organizational skills to keep your work area clean and efficient.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment, juggling multiple tasks at once.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring a smooth and cooperative kitchen environment.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Lift up to 25 pounds consistently.
• Lift 25 - 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Prep ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, and measuring out ingredients to ensure everything is ready for the kitchen team.
• Assist in meal preparation by following recipes and instructions from the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure dishes are prepared to perfection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including both the kitchen and storage areas, ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies, ensuring we have everything we need to keep operations running smoothly.
• Follow all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, and Health Department following all health and safety regulations.
• Contributes to a productive work culture by staying focused and finding ways to improve self and others.
