About The Position

Prep Cooks, known at Chili's as Heart of House Team Members, help set the pace for a great shift by providing dependable, fast service. The role involves preparing food according to recipes, completing assigned prep work, stocking and setting up stations, and following safety and sanitation procedures. Prep Cooks contribute to a safe, welcoming environment and work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Requirements

• Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
• Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Properly execute all recipe procedures.
• Prepare a variety of foods using different methods of preparation.
