About The Position

DeLallo Italian Marketplace is excited to announce the grand opening of our new Made-to-Order Department, and we are looking for energetic, dependable, food-loving team members to join our kitchen and food service team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with fresh food, helping customers, and being part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Kitchen and Made-to-Order Team Members will help prepare and serve fresh, high-quality foods for our customers. This may include sandwiches, salads, prepared foods, specialty items, and other made-to-order menu offerings. Team members will help bring the new department to life and play an important role in creating an excellent customer experience.

Requirements

• Previous kitchen, deli, food prep, restaurant, grocery, or food service experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to follow recipes, portion sizes, and food preparation instructions
• Passion for food and quality service
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable standing, moving, and working with food throughout the shift
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Friendly and customer-focused attitude
• Weekend availability is required

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh made-to-order food items for customers
• Assist with food prep, portioning, cooking support, and line service
• Provide friendly customer service in a food service setting
• Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation expectations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and company procedures
• Restock ingredients, supplies, and service areas as needed
• Work as part of a team to keep service moving efficiently
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily department needs
