About The Position
Walters Wedding Estates, a premier venue under the Walters Hospitality brand, is seeking dedicated, hardworking individuals to join their kitchen staff as Prep Cooks. The role involves creating exceptional culinary experiences for clients, requiring a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to handle constructive feedback. The position is part-time and focuses on culinary excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of successful culinary experience
- Serve Safe Food Handlers certification
- Able to lift 30 lbs frequently
- Able to stand/walk 8-12 hours
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must submit to and complete a background check
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- Culinary degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in the cooking process, following recipes and kitchen standards.
- Plate and present food beautifully, adhering to presentation guidelines.
- Assist with food service during events, ensuring timely and high-quality service.
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment, following all sanitation and safety guidelines.
