Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. The role involves obtaining daily production schedules, preparing items according to recipes and quantities, completing production worksheets and waste logs, and ensuring food quality through tasting. The position requires operating and cleaning equipment, proper storage and labeling of food items, and adherence to HACCP guidelines and health/sanitation regulations. Additionally, the Prep Cook will take customer orders, prepare short-preparation-time items, serve customers efficiently and friendly, and complete orders from steam tables and grills, ensuring proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control. Resolving customer concerns and performing other assigned duties are also part of the role.
