About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a food preparation or cooking role within a commercial kitchen.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to follow recipes and kitchen procedures accurately.
  • Capability to work standing for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring according to recipes and kitchen standards.
  • Cook menu items following established recipes and presentation guidelines to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations, including proper storage of food items.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or spoilage.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient food preparation during service hours.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, verifying the quality and quantity of incoming goods.
