The PREP COOK is responsible for supporting the kitchen by preparing food prior to the cooking stage for Island View Casino's restaurants. This role involves properly measuring, portioning, and preparing all food items while complying with quality standards and department policies. Basic prep cooking tasks such as baking, frying, sautéing, and steaming are expected. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to operate most commercial kitchen equipment, possess knowledge of quality food, food preparation, and food preservation, and be able to produce food orders in a commercial or professional kitchen setting. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older with a valid Driver License or State-issued ID.
